Ok, if you haven't seen this movie and you do not want to know the ending...do not continue reading:
Awesome movie...best one I have seen in a very long time if ever! Not a comedy, but funny as hell. I love the way the female, teenage neighbor gives it right back at Clint. But as I watched the ending, I couldn't help but compare it to the story of Jesus dying for us. Because that is what Clint did for those two teenagers. He sacrificed himself for them, so that they could find peace. He actually said "As long as that gang is around, those two kids will never have peace". So he sacrificed his life (yeah, we all know he was sick and dying anyway) but he still did it. And the symbolism was amazing. When they "pulled" the camera away, he was laid out on the sidewalk in a sign of the cross....like Jesus on a cross.
Just found that kinda neat.....
