A few days ago, my Anatomy classes finally got to dissect! They were so excited, well most of them. Those who weren't too thrilled got up with a partner who was willing to do all the dirty work. Each group had a different specimen: frog, rat, turtle, fish or bird. It was really neat to see how each person reacted to what each vertebrate looked like inside- different brain, heart, etc.
Here are a few pics. Oh, and for those of you who are thinking "that is so wrong".....think about the last time you went to the doctor or even dentist. Did they say to you "Well, I have never actually done this procedure, except on a computer dissection program. But I got an A, so you should be fine." How about them apples!!!!!
