Well, helloooo there!

yup, it's been a while. lots has happened. schools out, Chaytor goes to Kindergarten next Fall, vacations have official came and went, and a minor surgery? surgery? what you say? Yup...

so let's start

Vacation #1 Summer 2009 Smith Mountain Lake:

This makes the 3rd summer we have gone to SML. We found a house we rent that we love and has room for all 13 in my family. The kids swim and jump off the dock all day. The parents catch up on reading, enjoying some adult beverages, tubing, napping, etc. We all have a great time and Chaytor can't wait to go back next year!!!!

Chaytor turned 6 on July 7th....I think we had about 4 parties with my sister Chrissy's Birthday being the 4th, family party at mom's to celebrate Paige's bday too (July 22), party on the 6th (because Pump It Up isn't open on Tuesdays) and then final family dinner with both the Green's and Harrison's on the actual bday of Tuesday, July 7th.....He didn't know what to think about an actual birth date!!!

Surgery: Ok I have wanted to have a tummy tuck ever since Chaytor was born!!! It has never had anything to do with other people, just me....so I did it! July 14 I entered St. Mary's and came home a new woman. Well, same woman, new stomach. Yes, it was uncomfortable, especially the 2nd day (local anaesthesia wore off) but other wise, its really just a pain dealing with drainage tubes, uncomfortable sleeping positions, and boredom. My parents and Robbie's parents have been great taking care of Chaytor. Brian has been an awesome caretaker.....who wouldn't want an EMT/Firefighter changing their bandages, getting them dinner, fluffing their pillows....he has spoiled me!!! Friends have also come over and helped out!!! thanks to everyone for their support!
